Audi A6 (2003) 1.9TDI 130SE Transmission rumble
Hi Everyone,
This is my first time on this forum.
I've just bought my first Audi, a 2003 Audi A6 1.9TDI 130SE Automatic.
It’s got 77000 miles on the clock, full Audi service history, full options and its had the cam belt changed at 68000 miles.
There is just one thing worrying me about the car.
Using the manual gear change (multitronic?) the car is fine. You can accelerate through the gears with no problems. even on kick-down the car is fine.
When in D pulling away from stationary the car shudders quite violently for a few seconds then its fine. This is happens when you accelerate from stationary. But it doesn’t happen all the time. It’s really hit an miss.
Its been in for a full service but its still doing it. I read that some people had been experiencing the same issues and I’ve come across a wide range of solutions and price ranges for the repairs.
My question is, if anyone has had similar issues and been able to sort them out. What did you do?
Cheers.
