Audi a6 2.7t quattro
Hey all just joined last night I've just bought an Audi a6 2.7t Quattro on a 2000 w reg started to do a few bits like so far it has 19" apt wheels and tinted glass it has the leather recaro interior I would like to lower my car on springs and would like to know what is the lowest springs I can get for my car ? With it been a 2.7 bi turbo I've heard it comes lower from factory and would like to get the correct springs for it if anyone knows the lowest ones I can get for the car and where from ? Regards Dan.

congrats on the purchase.
if you are looking for the "best" way to respring your car you should really be looking at a quality set of coilovers. with the coilovers you can tailor the ride height to your driving style/comfort preference.
if you are set on just buying some new springs to throw on there, h&R is pretty much the go to manufacturer for springs for our cars. they offer sport and race varieties with race being the stiffer of the two. with 19" wheels on your car i suspect either is going to be really harsh. IIRC you are only looking at 1"-2" of drop.

good luck

Hello an congrats as well. I just recently put H&R Race Springs in my car an after they settled the front dropped 2 3/4 n the rear dropped 2 1/2 on my B5 A4. If u look at the thread right below yours you will find pics of my audi with the springs in it. And not for nothing it is a beautiful ride. Not as stiff as coilovers but 100 times better then audi's sport setup..
