hi guys thanks for the add , have found an easy fix for what i thought was a major gear box issue or ecu issue. which i thought was going to cost a fortune, the triptronic manual wasnt working but the automatic drove fine, had no other issues with the car , and the park,reverse,neutral, ect was lit up solid on the dash, but never showed what gear you were in while moving, no flash of death as iv heard they call it, my husband first purchased an F189 triptronic switch, as it happens this was fine and wasnt needed, we found out it was a triptronic slider that has magnets attached and it wasnt aligned properly , but we did purchase a whole new one to fix , panic mode over lol ,audi a4 3lt convertable 2003

 

Hi.i own an audi a4 2007 model and i have an issue like im getting an erroc cod f189 - it doesnt get to 2nd gear from 1st gear in tiptronic mode and also sometimes there is a problem with automatic D mode like the gears doesnt get through from one to other slightly
