Default Another new chic..

Made a very impulsive purchase on 97 Cabriolet with 123,000 miles. Body in great shape and I knew there were a couple of problems but thought the price was right.
I've been reading through the forums and don't know which is the best forum to post in for help....top won't open, have problem with locks....
I wonder if it's all related?

Thanks!

Willkommen to the forums!

congrats (?) on the car. For the '97 cabriolet, you will probably find good information in both the B5 A4 section, which is very active, and the C5 A6 section as I think the 2.8 in your cabriolet is the same as in a lot of the A6's (and some A4's too). As far as top and the locks, sounds like it could be related but i don't know enough about the particulars of your car to be certain

the good news is, no matter where you post up your questions, if you put that you are a "chic" in the title you are sure to have a lot of folks trying to help. we are, after all, a car forum.

good luck with your car

have fun

Welcome to the forums. Congrats on the new car.

I never had personal experience with a convertible top so I won't be able to help you here.
