It was just one of those things. Searched CL for months, test drove Volvos with blown turbos, more blown head gaskets than I care to count. Nothing seemed to be going my way. Made the decision last night to go look at another A4 at a dealer but it had a blue interior and it just really turned me off... just as I was about to start errands for the day, I just did a generic search for Used Audi Colorado Springs and this one just jumped out at me.

Called up and found out it belonged to the sales manager at a local dealership. I've never before in my life seen a more complete folder with every service ever done to a vehicle. Lots of little telltale signs all over the car that show it has been taken care of and loved. Only a few small issues (lines in the display, chipped paint on the door handles) but only cosmetic. I'm coming from a BMW 330 with high payments to a car that is paid for free and clear.

1999 A4 2.8 Avant. Plenty of room for camping and my mountain bike. I couldn't be happier...

Last time I was here was a VERY long time ago. I wish I could remember the guys name, but he was a very prominent member here, had a gorgeous bright red 4000CS Quattro that he reluctantly put up for sale. I think he was in Arizona. Hope he's still here. God knows what username I used to register with back then...
