Greetings to all those who read this, Much thanks to the forums as after much reading from here it helped me to make my decision to purchase my first Audi.

After much ponderance and intense negotiation I managed to drive home with a 1999 Audi A4 1.8T Quattro (Sport and Winter Package included) , of the Silver and 5 spd manual variety.

I must say after the 3 hour drive home I will never purchase anything but a german car again.

Hey Drunken..Welcome to the Forums. Excellent choice in going with Audi, I was sold on Audi after I rented a 2002 1.9TDI (German spec'd) for a weekend. 6 months later I purchased the 3.0. Anyway, I'm sure you will enjoy it and congrats on the purchase.
