Acquired a S4-B6
Hi all,
I've had a '95 A6 wagon for eight years and love it but it's getting a little long in the tooth so I bought a 2005 S4 B6 Avant 6-speed. I suspect I might want to replace the carpet and get the Recaro seats recovered (4hrs labor and $500/ea respectively).
But what I really have no information on is that it has the Symphony II radio and I wanted to know if I can fit the B7's navigation without hacking anything. My shtick is stock - I'm not a fan of modding (sorry y'all) and I like stuff to look/act/be stock. I realize putting navigation in a B6 might not actually be stock, but if it bolts right in and the standard connectors are there, then I'd like to consider doing it (for the wife of course; I don't need no stinking GPS : )
What say you?
(Just in case no-one with subject matter expertise looks in this section of the forum, I'm going to copy this to the "main" forum.)
Cheers,
Neil.
