Currently saab driver, saw a 2001 A6 wagon (2.8L) today and it really looked good. Miles: 80,000, price $11,500.
Now I am british and my knowledge of these cars is great,. however from what i am reading on thse its a failure, mostly electronics.
WHAt should I do?
Should I negotiate the price with dealer to get a deal and live with the consequences?
Should I avoid it completely?

The 2.8 wasn't the best in the performance / modability categories, but was a very reliable motor. Post this in the A6 forum, and I'm sure you'll get a lot more responses.
