Battery died Sunday, charged overnight. Drove to Audi dealer and was told it would be ready Wednesday because it needed a battery plus a battery harness. Wednesday was told there are no harnesses in the area and they will look elsewhere. Thursday was told the harness has to come from Germany. Anyone else have a similar problem?

 

battery harness?? or battery ground cable ( batterys dont just die overnight ) perhaps the alternator is the problem so what voltage is it giving to the battery when engine running? it should be 14+volts,

Problem two-fold. In Arizona 2-yr battery life is good; ground cable was corroded. Harness nomenclature is Audi's. Alternator is o.k. Next in line for cable delivery from Germany. Dealer estimates 10 days. Thks for reply!!!
