91 100 at the end of my rope
Hello all, have been the proud owner of a beautiful 1991 audi 100 since '01 and had about 18 months of worry free, thoroughly enjoyable ownership until one fine day when my baby just had no power similar feeling to running out of gas, but with half a tank according to gauge. Since that fateful day, at least 3 shops with "audi mechanics" have tried to diagnose and fix this car to no avail. Replaced fuel distributor at the first shop because my mechanic said that when he opened it up it was full of rust colored gas. Swapped ecu, took injector assembly apart, and many other things, after close to a year of working on it, it was taken to shop #2 with similar results. The second shop assured me that they had a mech. certified in Bosch cis e fuel injection and they rebuilt the injectors and ultimately told me the injectors were just dumping excessive quantities of gas into the cylinders and that they were giving up. So...the car is now in my yard @ my house in raleigh, nc and I'm wondering if anyone out there can help me find someone in my area that may have a shot at figuring this out. I have always worked on my volkswagens and mercedes up to a point, but I think this one is way out of my leaugue. Many thanks in advance for any help, if I can't find someone willing to tackle this one more time, I'm going to have to give her up, parts, etc.

That really sucks man, and i don't really have any advise for you, but it seems like you have been through alot of shops in the Raleigh area, I was wondering if you had any reccomendations about were to take mine for a timing belt change. I was thinking about Mpowered automotive in Cary, but it i called on thrusday for a quote and they still haven't gotten back to me.
