Just got word yesterday from a reputable dealership in MA that my 2002 A4/Sport 1.8T with only 30k babied miles, maybe a red line here and there, cracked a lifter in cylinder #1!! Only 7 months out of warranty....I or I should say my wife (her car) is pissed!! Think A of A (Audi of America) will cover it? They f'in better. Does anyone know of a silent recall regarding lifters....anyone....anyone?
