I am new to this forum so dont really know what im doing. lol

I have an A4 cab 2.0TDi sport on an 07 plate its done roughly 68k, I have recently experienced a problem with oil pump failure its knackered the whole engine, so i am now having to fork out fr a complete new one as audi wont stand by me.

i am gonna repair and get rid as the cab is no longer practical, i want an A4 saloon now but am concerned on more engine failures, i have found a new shape 08 plate and onwards, does anyone know if the fault has now been repaired on this engine??

Most of our active members are from North America and most of our experience is with the petrol engines. It is disappointing that Audi is leaving you to fix this on your own, seeing as how it was a mechanical failure that led to your problem.

The new member welcome area does not get a lot of views. perhaps you should post up you question in the A4 section.
