Sadness,

Today while i was driving home my 02 1.8t just lost all power due to a transmission/clutch problem.
Has this ever happened to anyone else ? I was driving a just lost all power. The engine was fine but no movement. The only good part about this is some punk on a motorcycle started screaming at me to turn when the light turned green , well when i got out of the car im 6/2 220. And started telling him off the look on his face was sheer terror. Normally im very easy going but all of the stress buttons were pushed at the same time. So anyway... any input on that would be super !!!! Oh by the way its an automatic with the tiptonic shifter.

i also have a 2002 A4 1.8tq tiptronic
did u get all the recall because there was a big recall for a problem wit our tiptrannys

 

I have an 03 A4 tip.
Ive never had a problem with the tranny.
