NOOB Introduction
Hello All,
This seems like the right place to try out my rule-following abilities and show off a little of the terminology you provided in my signature. Thank you for the suggestions on how to get started, they are for our future benefit and I'm glad to heed them!
My husband and I just bought our first Audi, well, we'll call it mine because I drive it to work every day and he's got a pickup. We live in the Denver area and do a lot of driving. As much as it pains me to admit it, our A6 was a compromise between my desire for another Cadillac (coming off a 2nd one with lots of mechanical difficulties) and my husband's peace of mind (he wanted me to get some generic crossover SUV for winter driving.) Nearing the end of my second tank of gas I must say, I LOVE THIS CAR! I keep hearing, "sweet ride" from my family, friends, and co-workers. I always say, "yep I know!" The challenge I have now, after ten years of Cadillacs, is adapting to the sportier suspension. I'm sure that in no time at all I'll be saying Cadi-what?!
I joined this forum hoping to supplement the information in the owner's manuals. There are just soooo many settings, tweaks, and options to mess with on the car and I believe I'll benefit from the help of previous postings and can be comfortable tossing out a dumb is this user-error type of question now and again.
I'm happy to be here and thanks for having me!

Newb buying '06 A4 S-line
I will most likely be buying an '06 A4 Quattro S-line this weekend with 71,000 miles. Anything I should know about this model? I have been pondering the decision between this and an '09 Impreza hatchback. There is a large difference in mileage, but I have always wanted an Audi. Thanks for any help.
