Is there a easy fix for valve cover replacement for a 98 a4 2.8 was told they were leaking. Have noticed a smell!

 

I have a Audi A4 2.8 Quattro been noticing sometimes a get a terrible smell making a right hand turn? Any ideas. Thanks

Hello I am a new member but not a new Audi owner. I have had Audi's for 16 years, after becoming aware of them in Spain.
I just bought a 2014 A6 with 3.0 T ( supercharged). I am looking forward to getting it out on the highways of Florida where I now live. I worked in the U.S. Auto market for 30 years,but still came back to the Audi. It now sits beside my Corvette in the garage.
