modulemaster.com

Total was 176.00 with return shipping, and $500 worth of insurance on it.

I want to send them my cluster to get the screen fixed, but thats not a need at this moment.

did anyone need to be reminded of the title of this thread? as i recall...in part, it reads, "kelly's car"

so here's my update on the CEL for those of you who might have been paying attention.

i've only driven about 40 miles with the new tank of gas in it.....and the CEL still hasn't come back on (everyone please cross your fingers now).

if the problem were in fact to be that i need new intake manifold gaskets, would the CEL be coming back on now??? or does it take a while for the problems to trigger the CEL??

i just want to believe it's the bad gas and that i'm in the clear now.
what do you think?

How many start/syop cycles have you gone through since your fill up? Thats the key for the CEL thing, goes away if the issue doesnt repeat after ~25 key cycles or somthing like that...

And if worst comes to worst, JHM makes some nice intake spacers that come with fresh gaskets

probably not enough start/stop cycles yet....so i guess it will be coming soon.

should i ask for intake spacers and fresh gaskets? (i don't know what that is or what it does.)
but, if i'm gonna be having maintenance, i might as well be replacing parts with better parts, right?

you know, i really wanted to believe it was something as simple as a bad tank of gas......but i guess i should know better. nothing wrong with wishful thinking.
