Attention All St. Louis Audi Club Members! The St. Louis European Car show is right around the corner.

Several of you attended the Auto show last June and can attest to what a great event it was for all. And all proceeds go to the St. Louis Shriners Hospital for Children.

This is a great opportunity to bring your Audi out and display it with other Audi owners. And while you're there you can see all the other marques that are represented from VW's to Bugatti's, Bentley's, Ferrari's, Lambo's, Lotus's (Loti) , Alpha, BMW, Porsche, MG's, Jag's, Aston's, Mercedes Benz, Austin Healey, Rolls Royce, Sprites, Morgan, European Motorbikes, Detomaso Pantera, Mini Cooper, Triumph etc etc. Old and new cars....young and old owners. It's a great collection of hardware and their enthusiast owners.

Last year was our second year to participate as a Club at the event. We had over a dozen Audi's displayed in our area. It surprised and impressed several people. We did have one problem though. Several people that wanted to park in the Audi "area" were not able to for a couple of reasons. The Club was allocated a certain amount of parking spots based on how many signed up in a timely manner. So if you registered late, after the spots were allocated, they weren't able to accommodate the "extra" cars in the display area. Also, those that arrived latter in the morning found it hard to get to Audi display area.

Bottom line here is, if you think you might be able to make it with your Audi, sign up sooner than later. And if something comes up that precludes you from being able to come with your car, you still have made a charitable contribution to a very worthy cause.

Please come out if you can to support this charitable event. If you like cars, I promise you won't regret it.

Here is the link to the event web site where you can register.

Your Club has already registered as an organization and will have a small pop-up tent there where we can sit and talk cars or just get out of the sun for a while. Bring a lawn chair, sun block and some refreshments to take the edge off the heat if necessary. And be ready for a great time. Let's see if we can double our presence there this year.

Hope to see many of you there!

John Palumbo

5x120, I believe. I put one of the Enkei wheels on the '01 325i once - it works as long as you use the BMW lugs, I think.
