Hello,

Anyone know any good shops around michigan that would swap out my turbos and tune my car? Sooner or later when my turbos go i want to upgrade to either a K03/K16 or K04. i know k03's arent very reliable... but they are half the price. Im more concerned with a custom tune then the work though.

 

In Tune in Holland Michigan is a great mechanic performance place. That is where I get my S4 serviced. The owner, Jason, used to have a b5 s4 so he knows a lot about it, not to mention he is now a AWE tuning authorized dealer. He can and will do the turbo swaps for you and can do any upgrades you need. Real nice guy and his main cars he works on are german so he knows what hes doing. I second that recommendation. In-tune has worked on my A6 for the last 60k miles and Jason does a great job at reasonable rates. They did all the modifications.

 

is the place fairly priced for upgrades too? i just want a cat back exhaust put in. any ideas how much that might cost? im about an hour from holland. thanks.

 

I work at audi of rochester hills, if your car is out of warrenty or almost out of warrenty we have a few techs that have done the Ko4 swaps for people in the past...very good group of guys...

 

Yes - Intune has done all the performance work on my A6 and I'm comfortable with the price and quality. His current shop rates are about $78/hour. Call Jason (the owner) at 616-392-4155. Jason has/had a heavily modifiedS4 2.7T as well.
