How to DEactivate seatbelt buzzer?
I have a new 2005.5 A4. I defected from BMW, and love everything, but the buzzing of the seatbelt sound drives me NUTS. I've always worn my belt when driving, but it continues in park, with the emergency brake on, even when I get out to get the mail (while my wife is still in the car). I've narrowed down the location of the buzzer on the back of the left tach cluster (via fuse panel to the left). Anybody have any options to disable it? The dealer was obviously of no help here.

Never heard of it... I googled it, looks like they're $15 or $20 for the cable alone. Tell me how to do it and I'll buy one, or make the dealer quit lying to me and let me use their gear. Do you have an article on the subject? Thanks for hope.

Ringing noise drives me nuts too. I've had my audi for a couple months now but never thought it could be stopped. It stops after about 5 minutes, i'm curious to on how to make it stop for good.

I HIGHLY recommend buying a Vag-Com. It costs much more than 10-15 bucks. http://www.ross-tech.com is the official dealer for this product. The other ones you see are knock offs. Even if you get one of the cheap cables you still need software to run it from your laptop. For the A4 B7 you will need a HEX-COM+CAN Interface. It's well worth the money. There are lots of little tweaks for your car out there. For instance you can "Vag" the car to control the windows via your remote control. You can also make it so all doors unlock with one touch press instead of a double click. I just bought mine and recieved it a few days ago, WELL worth the money.
