door pannel removal

Default door pannel removal

how do you remove the r/rear door pannel on a b5 ( without breaking anything ) window doesn't work! and of coarse it's down 1/2 inch. need help please.

If im not mistaken some one writen you remove the screw under the armrest and pull it off

Open the door. At the top corners of the door panel, on the "side" of the panel, there are two screws (one per side). Remove them. Then inside the door pull (where you pull on the door to close it) you'll find one screw. Remove that. That screw holds the trim piece on that forms the inside of the handle. Force it down and off (it's gonna take some swearing). Once it's off, you'll uncover one final screw. Take that out and lift the panel off. Be careful not to pull it too far away from the door before disconnecting the electrical harnesses and the door latch mechanism.
