Default Anyone ever hear of A&B Import Cat Converters before?

Hi all,

I've been trying to research this for several weeks to no avail. I've got a 1999 Audi A6 2.8L which badly needs new exhaust. I've got everything I need right now, EXCEPT the catalytic converters. One thing though, I'm only planning to keep the car for about two more years, maybe less, so spending $700 per cat from the dealer it a bit ridiculous.

I've been searching ebay and have found some cheap converters which didn't list the manufacturer, so I decided to contact the sellers. One says theirs are from A&B Import, and the other says Eastern. I can't find any reviews or information about reliability or anything else for these two companies, so for all I know they might be complete junk.

If anyone has any recommendations or suggestions, please let me know.

Thanks.

Default Wondering about A&B as well...

Im currently in the same situation. I have a 98 Audi A6 2.8L (FWD) and im needing to replace the passenger cat. I've looked around a good bit and found a cat on ebay for around 165.00 including a 30 day money back if not satisfied listing. It didnt list the manufacturer and sure enough they responded with A&B Import. I have never heard of them and would like to know as well if anyone has had experience with them. As well it comes with a 5 year 50,000 mile warranty so it seems to be pretty legit.

As far as Eastern goes I've seen them on most other places I'm looking for cat's but cant say how great the quality is.
