I have a 97 A4 Audi and the warning buzzer does not work. Where is it and what does it look like ?

 

Its part of the insturment cluster and as far as i know its only available with the cluster.

 

It did work for a brief time last year of about 30seconds in all but it sounded like a strangled duck. I have tried to find it as it has not worked since. I have the covers off the under dash area and there is a pile of relays and I thought it may have been one of these. So you think it is behind the cluster ??? any ideas what it looks like? I can see up there but there is nothing that looks like a buzzer ?

 

it will look like a relay with vent slits on it for audio reasons

 

Cheers guys stripped the dash out and had a look at it and took the back off to get right to it and I guess I will have to do without as there is nothing you can do with it unless I solder a 2nd type of buzzer, but not sure what amps will be the max as it is all into the circut board so it not worth the risk of burning it out.
