VAG COM on a macbook
Just curious if anyone has had any experience running the ross-tech software on a mac. I realize I will have to set up a virtual PC with parallels, or something similar then run the RT software through that. And since the mac only has USB ports will there be any issues here as opposed to the comm ports normally on PCs. I really would like to get this going since I am about to mover about 3 hours away from the closest scan tool.
Thanks

I'd say get the USB cable & a license of XP... use Boot Camp Assistant (sweet because its free & you already have it, just search with spotlight) to make a Windoze partition & install your copy of XP on there. then reboot in Windoze & install your VAG-COM software... plug in ebay cable .... voila!
