Too rich
I've searched both Bing and this forum for specific information and am coming up dry. If there is already a thread, please re-direct me.
as per my Sig and Vehicle info, my 2.7t is popping a check engine light. I have a MAC tools scan/clear tool. I'm coming up with a "Bank 2 too rich" (IIRC, 0172, or maybe 0174... will look next time it happens.)
It ONLY happens after a LONG (2 hrs+) drive and then and extended (5-10 mins) "sit and idle" period. It is almost always Bank 2, but if I am forced to use sub-premium fuel (its Iowa) I will also get a Bank 1 "heated 02 sensor" error. (it's averaging 10-15 Degrees F here)
The dealer says O2 sensor, but my experience with them is that they are either good, or bad... not in-between. Could the DV be leaking and causing the Rich situation?
The ONLY problem with the vehicle other than this is a leaky cam seal that is going to be replaced along with the TB next week.
Any info would be great, and thanks in advance---
