Replace throttle body?
1998 Audi A4 1.8t Quattro. 140,000 miles. Threw code P1545 after it started running extremely rough and did not want to rev/idle properly. Took to Audi mechanic. They cleaned throttle body and reset computer. Picked car up and drove it home - running well. Took car out next day and started having trouble again. Now it wants to rev on its own. Throwing codes P0605 and P1565. Mechanic said next step is to replace the throttle body. Does this sound right?

That I dont know for a 1.8t...I did a quick google and didnt see one, which is weird 'cause I haven't ran across a car yet that it wasn't... you can try to recalibrate it.. search for 'throttle body adaptation'.

Did you get it fixed?
Hi there,
Did you figure out what was wrong? If so, how did you fix the issue? I am having the same symptoms in my `99 A6 Quattro wagon and I don't want to simply throw expensive parts at the problem...
Thanks!
