Hi Jim, noticed you have been helping hjeff out. My car won't start. I am having the same problem but my #29 20amp fuse keeps blowing (ECM). I did the check for the relay and it checks out. My codes before I cleared them were p0420, p0300, p0302, p1103, and finally p0688. The only thing that I did was reset the throttle body by pushing down the gas pedal with the key in the on position and then turned off the key and released the gas pedal. I also did put a new ignition coil on #2 bank to see if that would clear and that is about it. Please help. Brent.

It's fixed. Ended up being a bad ignition coil #2. I luckily had an extra one from the internet $20!. Basically what I did is checked every thing. First the Relay Position j271 that relay was good. Next checked the fuel pump, unhooked all power still blowing fuses. Then finally unhooked all the coil packs and then started with #4 and then #3 and so on. Finally when I got to #2 it blew the fuse. Hooked up #1 and left #2 unhooked and the engine fired right up! Boy was I happy!!!!. I happen to have an extra coil pack it is red but works great! I had a ton of codes but now cleared the codes and only driven it a few miles and no problem yet and the car runs great. Hope this helps someone. Brent.
