I am hitting out to my fellow SA guys and girls here..

Basically i want to add things like needle sweep, mirrors rotating when reversing ect ect.. however I don't want to spend crazy cash like R1500 for an OBDEleven device.

So rather I want to spend a lot less and get a v1.4 device that can connect to Carista and OBDEleven to do the mods i need. I purchased one off of BidorBuy for about R300 and was advertised as a v1.5, however Carista said the device doesn't work with it and it seems to only read the car and not edit stuff.
But the thing is I downloaded an ELM327 checker and on the app it scanned my device and all of the versions lit up green to say its compatible with all of the versions including v1.4 but Carista and OBDEleven both didn't work..

Can anyone in SA let me know where I can buy a legit v1.4 device, that is inexpensive and will work to modify my car, not just read it?

I would appreciate it if anyone can help me?
