NOISE WHEN STARTING CAR

WHEN I START THE CAR IT STARTS LOUD LIKE A DECEL CAR. OTHER THAN THAT IT RUNS AND SOUNDS AWESOME. IT ONLY MAKES THAT NOISE WHEN THE CAR IS BEING STARTED. ANY IDEAS?

Did you get your oil changed recently? If so they may not have put enough oil back in. It has happened before.....if thats not it.....when the engine is cold, open the oil fill cap and stick your finger in it and feel if there is any oil gunk ( sludge ).

Do you have an auxiliary air pump? It makes sound for about a 1 min. The oil filter anti-drain valve should keep the pressure in the system.. You might do an oil change with flush and good filter

Hey guys im reopening this POST because I never got a resolution for it. I got myself a oil change with flush and a brand new filter and it doesnt sound any better or worse. Still the same noise..
The best way I can disribe it is that my car sounds like a desel truck when it starts but then quiets down. PLEEEEASSSSE HELP!!!! If I cant find a resolution for it on here I have an appointment at the AUDI DEALER on Monday. But i just hate to give those people my money for something easy.

its just enough oil hasent gotten to the top of the engine and lifter and what not, apparently this isnormal, my cars been doing it for almost a year and this was the reply i got.

what i found to help is lucas oil treatment, it pretty much makesthe oil a bit more viscous so it flows better to the lifter and such. thats pretyt much it, or use a thicker weight oil although the lucas stuff works the best in my opinion to quiet downteh lifter noise.
