Default New ECS Cam Chain Tensioner has solenoid?

Recently I snapped one of my cam chaintensioner guides and ordered a new one from ECS. The replacement one suggested showed up with a solenoid on the back while the factory one did not have one. I was not able to connect with ECS today (Saturday Customer Service), but wanted to check with this group if I am ok to install. Factory model is 058109217, new one is Bremmen Mfg Part #058109088K or ECS Part #ES#3220525.

This is for a 1999 B5 A4 1.8T AEB Quatro Automatic.

From what I read, it appears to be an oil control solenoid?

Thank you for any help or guidance you have!!!

Default

FYI... I called ECS and they are overnighting the correct part. I think the lesson for me is to visually compare parts prior to ordering.
