Need answer asap- ECT connector wiring pinout for 2000' A6 2.8
First post on here. This website has saved my *** over the last year of owning this p.o.s. Audi, from replacing bent valves to learning to use the right power steering fluid..so just gotta say thanks for the info!
My problem today is with my ECT connector. My dumbass didn't hang the harness completely out of the way when pulling the head and didn't notice the ect connector tucked under the back cam tensioner and done ripped it off. Somehow or another the pins of 3 of the broken wires came out of the pigtail connector.
I've searched for a while online for a diagram showing the colors of the wires and which numbers they are. I can see the numbers on the connectors but just need their corresponding colors.
It's a 2000 A6 2.8 quattro and it's not the "D" shaped green connector on newer models (2001+)it's the square blue one with springs on it.
My car is running excessively rich go figure and I just got a slight wiff of eggs so the sooner obviously the better. I do Instacart and doordash on the side and commute daily for work as well. So anny help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
