Default which one... a S4 or TT?

</P>

I'm looking for any good input regarding the driving differences between the late model S4 and TT.</P>

The S4 models i'm considering are 2000-2002, and TT 2001-up (225hp, Quattro, 6spd).</P>

Personally i really like the TT for it's looks, and the 4cyl turbo seems a bit easier to deal with (service), plus the interior is "perfect" for me. I like everything i can remember about it.</P>

However it's not just a looks "thing". My significant other prefers the S4, probably due to owning a A4 2.8QM 30V, since it's basically the same car. </P>

Interested in any comments, and especially from those that have hands-on/personal experience.</P>

Cheers,</P>

S4 hands down. If its a second car, you're single and you plan to use it just for fun then maybe the TT. The S4 is an incredible car - not basically the same car as the A4 at all. Same body style, yes, but different internals, diff suspension, diff seats...

TT is nice, but its no S4.<edited><editID>brrman</editID><editDate>38040.709525463</editDate></edited>

Not joking at all, that's why i posted the question...</P>

Was hoping for a little more serious, and non-derogatory response. Far as i know soccer moms drove mini-vans. </P>

FYI- it's spelled "cheer", no "chear"- leading.</P>

Anyone out there that has some good and serious input on this (S4 vs TT), feel free to elaborate.</P>

Thanks!</P>

i would rather have the S4, had a 2000 A4 and switched to a 2000 S4, you sure can tell the difference btwn the two cars, both cars are nice but will rather have the S4 for performance driving...hope this helps

Between the S4 and the TT, it really depends on what you'll want in the car. The S4 is a great daily driver that with a bit of tuning, can demolish most of what you set in its way. Not only that but there is the space that the S4 carries, that your TT will not. But the TT is an amazing little car, if you don't have to worry about carting around much, and it performs amazingly on an autocross. They're both fun, having driven both, and while I strongly disagree that the TT is a girly car, I believe that for two people interested in getting a car, the S4 is a better choice.
