Got it all together and took my first test drive today!! I must confess I am proud of myself. Never messed with a german car before and havent messed with anything like this Audi ever. It still needs a little TLC in a few minor areas but the motor appears to be running great. Took it on the freeway and she hit 85 in a snap. I have a few "dummy" lights on that I need to sort out. All told now I have $2700 in the car so I think I came out pretty good. Thanks for the help Paul!

Good job !! You may want to give the other systems a fluid change. The Audi will do a lot of miles as long as the timing belt is looked after and the fluids are changed regularly.
I just did differentials, power steering, brake fluid and transmission fluid on the wifes A6.
