Default RE: List of Problems

So... In Sept. 2005 I bought a used lease vehicle, a 2001 A4 1.8t quattro. 48,000 miles, 1 owner and all factory services done up to about 40,000 that I have record of. Car fax was squeeky clean. Since then I have replaced 1 starter... part was covered by reseller, labor $120.00 not bad, not audi either. The doosy pending repair... My main wiring harness is falling apart on top of the cylinder head that feeds the ignition coils, this is at 58,000 miles, would think factory would help with repair as this really shouldnt wear out. NOT, current estimate is $1.5K to 2K to replace. also an oxygen sensor, part is $449.00, also a cam/distributor timing sensor Maybe $350.00 to replace. I paid $16,300 for the car. At this rate I will have paid as much in repairs as ive paid for the car in just a few years. Im still trying to get some help with the harness issue but its not looking good...AUCH!!!!!!!!!!(ouch)

Those are the prices quoted by Audi, I think the o2 sensor is price installed. Totally looking for a decent service mechanic in Santa Cruz Ca. to help with the things Im not gonna do myself.
