installing eibach lowering springs?
ok so i finally got my eibach pro kit in for my 2001 audi a4 1.8t, non- quattro. I want to install them myself, because i dont feel like paying $300 to get them installed. iv'e never installed springs on a german car before, and i hear a bunch of different things. My first problem is i found the bolts in the front to take out the spring assembly but in the back if you follow the springs it goes up into the back seat and looks like right under the seatbelt base. Has anyone ever done this? do i even have to take out these bolts to get the springs out. can someone please lead me in the right direction to installing these springs? any help will be greatly appreciated
thanks

RE: installing eibach lowering springs?
im sure the suspension system for the rear wheels are in the wheel arch and you don't have to remove anything from inside the cabin, I just did mine and only tool required was spring compressors

RE: installing eibach lowering springs?
the complete strut assembly needs to be removed before the spring can be compressed and removed. fold your rear seats foward and separate the trunk side trim from the body. behind it will be the strut tower. remove the bolt(s) and then move back to the outside of the vehicle and remove the bolt from the lower ctrl arm. cake
