HELP!!! Loss of Engine Power! 2001 A4 V6

Wellllll, I think I fixed it. Fuel filter was the culprit.
Was a PITA to change it as it is stuffed in and up next to the gas tank and near impossible to get to the clamp and pull it out with all the hoses, but I did it after about 2 hours of fudging.
Took for a test drive and she seems to be back to life. Even threw some fuel injector cleaner in the tank for good measure.
Don't know why I didn't think of this before as it just didn't seem to act like it was the fuel filter, but thought, what the hell, it's cheap and worth a try. I think I realized this after I was reading about issues that a clogged filter can cause, including misfires in the cylinders.
