Default ERROR CODE 2:00h

Hello All,

I have a 2001 Audi TT 225 Quattro and recently I took my TT to a Valvoline oil change pit stop. I used synthetic oil 5w30 and ever since that day my check oil light comes on when the tempature gauge reaches the half way mark. Every shift inbetween gears flashed the oil pan and beeps. Oh, and when I'm at a stop the temp guage goes past the middle notch to about 1-2 bars past the middle. Yesterday while I was driving I seen a new error code on my display, it was flashing 2:00h. Does anyone know what the code 2:00h means and has anyone incountered a problem with losing the get up and go after a few minutes of driving? Say after my car warms up and reaches the half way mark on my temp guage.

Welcome to the forums.

The 2:00h thing is just your car telling you you've been driving for two hours, mmore or less continuously, and need to pull over and stretch your legs. More like an ANNOYANCE code, not an error code.

Havew you checked your oil level since you got your car back from the charletans... Oops, meant to say, back from the shop? Are you SURE they changed teh filter? They dint do a slipshod job of replacing the drain-plug, did they? Notice any puddles underneath your car... OIL-flavored puddles? I have no personal experiences of teh kind you wrote about, but those are the things I'd think could be causing the symptoms, given the conditions you gave us.

I believe there is a button on teh end of the r/h stalk that allows you to switch between data displays, true? There should also be a button underneath the end of that same stalk that, if held "in" will reset which ever data field is current being displayed in your Heads-Up-Display (HUD)
