Does the symphony play MP3's?

Hi all, I have a 06 Audi A4 cabriolet with symphony system. Iv only had the car 4 days and I tried to play my mp3 data disk but no sound came out! Strange thing is the timer on the display was counting down! Any ideas?

Check your owner's manual. I don't think it will work however.

Symphony MP3

I have an 05 S4 with Symphony. Plays MP3s fine. Not sure what's going on with you...
