? cold incomplete combustion? I don't know about that one, but my understanding of the subject is this:
The reason it is 'ineeficient' to let your car idle is largely due to your rings. Your rings are designed with twist such that they seal best under load (pressure).When you are idling, you have the least amount of cylinder pressure
Kevin you just said it man, low cylinder pressure...will give you low combustion temperature. Low combustion temperature equals incomplete burn, equal higher amounts of particulate(carbon)

do not idle engine till its warm for pre use drive as required ( immediately ) and allow engine to warm up naturally in motion
