I have OBD software for my laptop but it is giving me an error when I run it...

I have a 2003 A6 3.0 liter

I can't for the life of me figure this one out, I guess I need to make time to get it into the dealer... Its CPO so should only cost me $50

If anybody has any ideas please send me a message.

they can scan at autozone for free if they carry a obd2 scanner !! if not i know a shop near my house but it is in pleasanthill,ca only does bmw and audi
