To dumb it down... Can you use a small planetary gear to make the axles spin faster? Trying to make a fwd (transverse) transaxle run TWO rear a8 torsen differentials. The axles would go north to south with the center diff somewhere in the middle.

I found 4:1 planetary gears that would sit where the front diff sits now. They hold about 300 lbs of torque. And it is small enough. The axle would have to be braced with bearings just as both axles are now. With some additional support.

This is for a 200hp or less engine so I think it would hold.



The planetary gear looks a bit different than the pic but it seems like the bolt holes could be made to match or bolted to another disc to be made to fit.
