Default Central Locking Pump

Hi all,
My Audi A4 1.T Year 99, suffered a minor problem over the weekend.
The fitted alarm normally opens and closes the doors when the remote button is pressed, but although the alarm was being turned on & off, the doors weren’t opening. I reverted to the manual method, “key”. You could hear the vacuum pump working, but the central locking was not working. Upon investigating I notice the carbon diffuser/impellor in the vacuum pump was broken!
Does anyone know if ya can just buy the diffuser instead of the whole item?
Further, after installing the new do I have to pull the system back into a vacuum? How?
Thanks in advance!

don't think its an off the shelf item you could try an electronics shop like Marlin or similar and see if the can match it, if not its a new pump and when fitted it should reactivate itself when you lock the doors
