Car won't start hot
I have a problem with my Audi A4 Quattro. For some reason my car won't start right away when I have driven it. If the car sits for couple of hours it starts with no problem. It's the time slot between 20mins-1.5hrs where it won't start. Does anyone have an answer to this problem. Also, I have taken my car to get a diaognostic and the mechanic says he can't get a signal. He says the wiring in the car is messed up and it'll take a few hours to find the problem. They charge 99 bucks an hour. Does anyone know what it could be???

RE: Car won't start hot
The "won't start hot" problem sounds like classic vapor-lock, but that's a carbuerator-type problem. Never heard of it with a "fuelie." With carbs, the quick fix was to pop open the gas cap and put it back on.
As far as the "can't get a signal" thing, I'd say hit another stealership and get a second opinion.

Just had the same problem, see if you have enough coolant. Mine was low, added some and never had the same problem again.

Coolant didn't help
Coolant addition didn't help my issue. I'm going to get it looked at for a possible check valve malfunction (leaking gas into the cylinders) or a leaky injector (seems unlikely as Audi told me yesterday when I picked the coolant up that they've NEVER replaced injectors....)
Any other input? Still waiting for the guy that started this to reply, as we have the EXACT problem.
