Default Brakes sticking

I have an audi a4 tdi (2002) and the brakes have stuck on 3 times! The 3 times i've been stuck in traffic with my foot on the brake pedal for a short period. The pedal stays down as if the brakes are on fully. the first 2 times the pedal has come back up after a couple of embarrisingminutes, but now the the brakes are stuck solid in my front yard. Now i think i have burnt out the clutch trying to move it[:@]. Please help as i am pulling my hair out. Thanks.

Default RE: Brakes sticking

Found problem! Water got caught between the main bulkhead and the engine bulkhead (where the battery sits), because leaves had blocked the two drainage holes. This caused the brake servo to take in water and ultimatley seiezed the pedal in somehow. Have new servo in and brakes are fine. It could be worth checking if you live in a wet country, its an arkward job changing it. Clutch is shuddering a bit on take off but thats all.
