Default Audi quattro 01a ratios

Hi guys, Would anyone have any info on the Audi 01a Quattro box, i have found one at a wrecker, it's in a 1990 model 5 cyl and is manual, the gearbox code is AKT08047 and the rear diff is AEX17047, the vin is WAUZZZ8AZLA173408, i removed the rear diff and counted teeth its a 4.55, which does seem high, does anyone have any other info on gear ratios or a manual for this box. I have an 01x and 01e manual to swap if someone needs it.
I currently have a 016 Quattro that is a 4.11, would the 4.11 be a better road car option or would the gearing in the 01A be better suited, i am attaching it to a toyota 4l 1uzfe. I have heard that the 1st gear in the 016 will be as good as useless, and will run out of steam at about 50kph.Is the 01A any better.
Is the bolt pattern the same on a 01A as the 016, i ask that because i have already had the 016 adaptor made, and its a lot of work to pull the 01A to find it won't fit the 016 adaptor, the 01a is a little shorter so would suit my plans better, but is it stronger than a 016, as its an all alloy box, no cast iron to break?, the other strange thing is that the 01A has 012 on the side of the bellhousing and 01A on the side of the gearbox----confused ??

Best Regards
