Go to the top of the forum and read the Newbie Guide sticky post - it'll answer a lot of your questions. Go through that a couple times, and assess your finances realistically. Then, using that as a basis, post some questions relevant to your situation based on what you learn and you'll be able to decide if you're ideally in the position to own one. That's not snobbery either - these cars can be expensive to maintain, especially if you have to take them to a dealer or shop to be repaired. If you invest in some good basic tools though, and avail yourself of the resources in the DIY and Tech forums here and on www.audiworld.com and www.audidiy.com, you can do a lot of repairs yourself. That's a big factor in Audi ownership. A job that costs you $50 in parts and takes half a day in your driveway might be quoted at $800-900 at a shop. If you can work on your own car, it'll help you a LOT.

^ +1. I totally agree with the above post. I bought my audi (already having an ok amount of maintaining/repairing experience) and as soon as I got home I started doing work . I got a nice little shopping list formed for tomorrow. Right when I got it I assesed what needed to be done, as well as how much it was going to cost, and the priority of said issues.
