Silver 1998 A6, front wheel drive, blue interior. Engine blew an oil seal and lost all oil and ruined engine. Car has 140,000 highway miles. Until engine blew car was running great, AC, transmission, etc all good. my customers got a few quotes on replacing engine, around $5,000 parts and labor.
At this point my customers is inclined to sell it as scrap and if my customers can afford it just buy another car at some point MB STAR C5.
1. Any opinions on that?
2. What is the car worth for scrap, rims are good, all body panels good, water pump, alternator, dashboard displays, etc all good.
3. What is the best way to sell it.
