airbag light is on

Default airbag light is on
hi guys , my Airbag light is on on my 99 Audi A4 quattro. Would it rest the light if i unplug the battery from the car??

my airbag light comes on whenever i stick something into the DC (cig outlet). i.e. ipod jack, phone charger, GPS charger...
Take it to Autozone and tell them to reset it

Hi Alan

No it won't. I tried that after removing my steering wheel for a repair.

I had to use Vag-Com to interigate the controller and clear the codes that way.

Correct. Battery disconnect doesn't work and neither does trying the "drive cycle" method. Airbag light faults must be cleared using VagCom.
