'99.5 A4 2.8 - Huge coolant leak above oil pan
Hi All-
Well, I've finally waited a little too long; the slow but steady coolant leak running off my oil pan has splurged open into a rusty, sedimenty river. I have a 99.5 A4qm 2.8 and if I look down between the pulleys and radiator I can catch a glimpse of a metal lower coolant line with rubber hose connectors at its end, completely corroded out. I assume this leads to the oil cooler? It appears it runs along the upper lip of the oil pan, held in place by a small bracket. I already know replacing this line is going to require service position to do it right, but I can't even find a part number for it or a DIY. Has anyone else had this problem/have a good proecedure for replacement? It seems like most coolant leaks for our cars are with the flange (more common on the 1.8t), crossover pipe or resevoir, but I haven't found a whole lot on this leak location.
Thanks in advance for the help!

You can go by your local Audi dealer and give them you vin # and they will print out a diagram of the coolant system which will have the part numbers for every component in the coolant system. Not sure about the service position for removal but im about to find out. Have same problem myself. Mine runs down between whatever that part is that bolts to front of oil pan and has a rubber bushing connecting it to a bracket on the radiator. Problem is I cant find where its leaking so I guess I will start taking everything off until I find the problem
