97 Audi A4 head light problems...
It's my sister in law's car, you can turn the lights on, but no lights come on, pull back on the switch lights come on. I figure its the switch, can it be taken apart and clean or it just has to be replaced? If so, who has the connection to get one at a good price?
Thanks.[/align]

Take one of the low beam headlights out and check to see if the filament is broken or burnt out, they both may be out, it happens.
Also, are they zenon or halogen headlamps?
Headlight switches don't fail often.

Can you turn the high beams on with the switch? Theengine must be running to do this.

The problem is the switch, already happened to mine, If you want a temporary fix just bridge it with the side parking one, but the sprayers on the front will not work or buy a new swict, but you have to be carefull if you are going to replace it, because the air bag switch is there also, disconnect the battery first.
