The dealer has checked and re set the transmission and now tells me that the transmission needs an $1100 dollar service with the new fluid to fix the following. At the upper gear if you push the pedal the trans thumps as if there were slack in the drive line. The dealer has checked averything else but says we are pretty sure that a service will fix the issue but no guarantees? the car has a whopping 40k on it Any help is appreciated
